We arrived Kansai International Airport in the morning. The walk to Terminal 1 was far enough for us to have a toilet break in between. It had been drizzling on and off for the past few days in Tokyo. We were about to head to our next destination - OSAKA. We did not take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to travel from Tokyo to Osaka. It could be another exciting journey to travel through the fastest train in the world. However, we chose to take the flight instead owing to the cheaper cost.
Well, we had made our choice and it was too late to change our plan.
The routine queue and check-up in the airport. And, it started to drizzle again.
Felt sleepy. Yesterday night, Kehoe and me went to Akibahara and chillax in the Starbucks until midnight. Furthermore, we all had a long chat at night. That was the plan - Stay up late; feel sleepy: sleep on the plane; re-energise.
On the plane, started snoring softly right after the announcement from the pilot that we might arrive late due to the weather.
The next thing I knew was my drowsy eyes opened when I heard an announcement from the captain. The language the captain used was in Japanese. Then, he spoke in English : Dear passengers,we are lucky to have a nice weather right now. please take a look through the window if you're on the right side of the plane. It's the view of Sacred Mountain of Japan - Mount Fuji.Thank you for your attention."
Oh my God, I was at the right side! Despite being seated at the middle seat, I was still able to see the magnificent view from the window. The lucky passenger at the window seat was bust snapping the photo while I was using my "super-camera" to capture the view into my mind. Before flying pass by, I managed to snap a few photos as "souvenirs" and for my friends who were not on the right side of the plane.
I thought it will be just another normal flight for me to sleep in. It turned out to be one of my memorable airplane views. It's the fun part of travelling. You never know what's waiting you ahead.
